JM Hydro Ingeniería
A firm born with a brand before it had a website.
01
Who they are
JM Hydro Ingeniería is a Bucaramanga firm that studies the water before a construction project has to suffer it. They do hydrology, hydraulic modeling, risk analysis, design of channels, ditches and box culverts, sanitary and stormwater networks, and water resource management for infrastructure projects. They say it plainly. They don't improvise with water. They study it, simulate it and design for it.

What we found
The firm was starting out. No logo, no brand, no website. What there was, was a clear purpose and a craft its founders have known for years.
They wanted to show up differently from what people expect of an engineering firm, with an image that broke the mold of the sector, and at the same time make clear how technological they are at what they do. Both things at once, without one taking seriousness away from the other.
The people looking for them are not just anyone. They are engineers, construction companies or public entities that need a reliable study so there are no floods, failures or cost overruns later. The website had to speak that language precisely and make clear what each service delivers.
03
What we made
The brand first. The name, the logo with the drops and the stream, the visual system and the way of speaking. Then, on top of that, the website.
A website where every service has its own page, with what it includes and which kind of project it serves. An articles section to publish what they know, because in this trade judgment is shown in writing. And a technical inquiry form where the person picks the type of service and the project's region before writing, so the first conversation already starts with context.
A walk through the site, on desktop.
On mobile.
04
What changed
JM Hydro went to market as a brand, not as a name in an email signature. Today it looks the same in a proposal, on a job site and on screen, and in engineering that counts. The order mattered. First who they are, then how they look, and only at the end where they explain themselves.
